Help Create Magic

What is Camp Kesem?

When a parent is diagnosed with cancer, their entire family is affected. Camp Kesem is a week-long, magic-filled camp to help children of cancer patients cope with the stress, responsibility, anger, guilt and fear of losing (or loss of) a parent. Camp Kesem started in 2000 at Stanford University, and has grown to 54 college campuses across the country. Camp Kesem CWRU was created in 2013, with hopes to create the first fun-filled 100% free camp in the summer of 2014. The main goals of Camp Kesem CWRU are to bring back childhood for the children of cancer patients and to provide the basis of a lifelong support group. Camp Kesem changes life through peer-support and endless fun.

At Camp Kesem we make friends, memories, and spread magic. With your donation we welcome you into the Camp Kesem CWRU family and send you all our #cklove.
