Camp Kesem is a camp for children whose parents have cancer. I'm riding my bike 100 miles on the Chief Ladiga and Silver Comet Trails and I'm trying to raise funds for this camp.
I'm 13 years old and I like riding my bike. I've been training for this trip. When I was eight, my mother was diagnosed with cancer. I never went to Camp Kesem, but I think it is helpful for kids whose parents have cancer. My mother is well now and we are doing this ride together.
We are making this ride as part of Fat Cyclist's 2014 100 Miles of Nowhere (www.fatcyclist.com), which is raising money for Camp Kesem.
Thank you very much for your donation. Every bit helps, no matter how small.
